Accessible visits to the Arosa Bear Sanctuary
The adventure trail consists of several platforms which are connected with suspension bridges. If required, staff can provide free assistance for the wobbly adventure trail. The adventure trail is also accessible by wheelchair.
There is an accessible toilet at the middle station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car, approx 200m from the Bear Sanctuary. The Arosa Bear Sanctuary itself does not have any accessible toilets.
Two all terrain wheelchairs are available at the middle station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car approx. 200, from the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. If required, these must be reserved in advance by telephoning +41 81 378 84 84. More detailed information on these wheelchairs is available here.
Dogs on a lead are welcome at the Arosa Bear Sanctuary, however they must not use the adventure trail. Assistance dogs are permitted to access the adventure trail.
Persons with visual impairments can notify a member of staff to receive free support. If required, we offer demonstration material in alternative formats.
